A day in the life of a Potosí's miner

Visiting "La Mina Rosario": a 4 km mine walking going 80 m. down in the belly of the mountain to worship "El Tio" (the spirit of the mountain) and thank "La Pachamama" (Mother Nature). A once-in-a-life experience, enough to understand and reflect upon the terrible working conditions of a nowadays' miner.

"A day in the life of a Potosí's miner". No, it is not the title of a new Bolivian reality show. On the contrary, it is the real effect of a visit into "La Mina del Diablo" (the devil's mine). It means spend an entire afternoon inside the "Rosario" active mine in very harsh conditions and low safety, being even careful of not slowing down workers' passage in-and-out of the mine through the narrow mountain galleries. If you ever come to 'el pueblo minero', you should really have this (crazy) experience. Highly recommended.
